30 day returns

We are happy to give you a credit, exchange or refund (excl. shipping fees), if you want to return any product purchased from Barben online or in-store, for any reason.

Please note: Product must be uninstalled, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition.

Keep in Mind

You have 30 days from your date of purchase to return your item.

You must notify Barben before returning your item.

Barben will inspect all returns to ensure that they are in an appropriate condition, before issuing a credit, exchange or refund.

Clearance items are not eligible for returns.

15 year warranty

Barben offers limited warranties across its product range up to 15 years for manufacturing faults or defects. See below for each product type’s warranty period and inclusions.

Making a claim

To initiate a warranty claim, email sales@barbenboutique.com.au the following:

  1. Your name and order number.
  2. Description of your issue.
  3. Photographic or video evidence that shows the issue.

Our warranty team will then assess your claim and contact you. If your claim is successful, we will repair or replace your product, or refund the issue.

Note: Our products are covered by Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for any major failure and/or for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Conditions

For your warranty to apply, it must also satisfy the following conditions:

  • Failure as a result of a fault or defect caused in manufacturing of the product. 
  • Installation by a licensed plumber.
  • Installation for domestic and residential use only. 
    • ‘Commercial use’ means anything outside other than domestic use. This includes commercial applications such as schools, restaurants, sporting facilities, hotels and salons. 
    • If the product is used for commercial application, we provide a 12-month structural warranty. This does not apply to the product finish or cartridge.
  • Proof or purchase included in the application. 

The warranty does not cover:

  • Simple wear and tear.
  • Products purchased as a display item.
  • Faults that are the result of unsuitable or improper use.
  • Incorrect installation or installation not in accordance with the instructions provided. 
  • Installation or part installation by any unlicensed individual. 
  • Improper maintenance. 
  • Harsh cleaning products used on the product finish. 
  • Damaged due to chemical, electrochemical or electrical influence.Â
